National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims

Please Pass on to Others

I am prompted by Jayce Dugard’s  telling us about what her  pine cone symbol means to her.  She tells us it is the last thing she saw of her life after she was stunned and kept captive for 18 years was a pine cone.  Now, she wears a pine cone on a necklace for her symbol of “hope and new beginnings”  What do you have as a symbol for you?  My symbol for my sister is the iris, take a look at my collection http://hopegallery.smugmug.com/Other/Flowers/17036820_83RLPR#433557535_L7tmZ.  Let us hear from you  too.  What symbols or quotes help you?
